- Create a list of requirements: What is CRITICAL, what is IMPORANT (but not critical) and what would be NICE BUT OPTIONAL
- Evaluate business plan (financial models) and decide what we can likely afford--or a range of options on what we can afford
- Break up into 5 operating groups: financial planing, fund-raising, legal organization, location & facilities and membership promotion.
- Each group will create an action plan; what steps do we need to take to have a hackerspace open for use by January 2011?
- Decide what points we need to act on before the next meeting so we can continue to move forward.
- Assign teams to action points that must be completed by the next meeting.

1. Start looking for locations for the hackerspace.

We need people to go out for the next two weeks and see posible locations for the hackerspace. Then collect this information and post it to the wiki. You should collect, photos, video, the address, the price and the term of the lease. You should see as many properties as you can.

2. We need to decide which legal entity we want to form the hackerspace under.

Since no one at the meeting was a legal expert, we need someone else who can assist us in answering our questions and assist us in deciding which is the best way to proceed. Next meeting we will form a team, who will start this registration process.

Hackerspace Property Listing

We decided that the hacker space should be close to the BTS. Area's we are interested in finding locations are:

- Thonglor

- Asoke

- Ploenchit

- Ratchathewi / Phaya Thai

- Ari

We decided that the types of locations we are interested in are:

- A house

- Shop House (on main street. multiple floors, possibility for restaurant/coffee shop on bottom level)

- Residential Multi-Level house

- Shop House (someone else renting the bottom ground level floor, we have private entry and access to floors above)

Requirements:

- Must not be too far from major BTS stop mentioned above.

- Must be large enough for 20 - 40+ people at a time.

- Ideally would have food / coffee / entertainment near by.
